UNICO Essay Contest Winners Announced

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Each year, the Livingston Chapter of UNICO sponsors a Christopher Columbus Essay Contest for fifth grade students.  Students submitted their essays in which they had to explain the traits that Christopher Columbus had that today’s adventurers and explorers must also have.

On Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Hillside Elementary School, first, second and third place winners were chosen and recognized at an award ceremony.  On hand to present the winners with their awards and certificates were UNICO President, Al Branchi, and UNICO Membership Chair and Past President, Ralph Celebre.
