LIVINGSTON, NJ — A Verona resident was reversing from her parking space in the parking lot of the Livingston ShopRite on Thursday at approximately 6:18 a.m. when her car flipped on its roof and injured her left shoulder.

According to police, the Verona resident backed out of her spot, with her front wheels turning left, when she struck a parked vehicle but did not injure anyone. She continued in reverse until she struck a green, chain-linked fence with her rear bumper.

The vehicle continued up an embankment, causing it to overturn onto its roof, police said. The Livingston Fire Department responded to the scene, but more information about the driver's accident and injury is not available at this time.
