LIVINGSTON, NJ – Fit 36 of Livingston expects construction of its brand new facility in Livingston to be completed by the end of April. According to owner Adam Selman, the team at Fit 36 is expecting minimal delays and is excited to offer a unique approach to HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) to the Livingston community.
A typical workout includes 12-station circuits that focus on strength, athleticism and stamina. Each class of 24 is led by a certified personal trainer that aims to keep the energy level high. In addition to personal attention, FIT 36 also applies a heart-rate monitor to each person, which is displayed on televisions within the facilities.
“The heart rate monitors are a great way to motivate our clients to work harder,” said Selman. “We encourage them to keep them on whenever they go for a run or stop by another gym. This data provides a unique and useful insight into how often and how hard our clients are training each week.”
Selman is no stranger to owning and operating a successful business, he said. He is also a co-owner of two yoga studios: one in Englewood and another in Hoboken, where he resides.
He noted that the flourishing community of Livingston offered a great opportunity to begin a new venture—one that he hopes will “have a positive influence on the lives of many.”
