West Essex YMCA Seeks Applicants Who Want to Make a Difference

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The YMCA achieves its mission one person at a time. The West Essex YMCA seeks staff to contribute to the advancement of the YMCA vision by meeting the needs of the people in our communities.

Current openings include positions in Early Child Care, School Age Child Care, Youth Sports, Personal Training, Group Exercise Instructors and Facility Maintenance to cover a variety of shifts including afternoons, evenings and weekends.

"Whether it’s working with children in an after school program, ensuring a safe and caring environment, or helping our members to achieve their health and wellness goals, all Y staff are guided by the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, and helping everyone to be their best."

The West Essex YMCA carefully selects staff members according to their their interests, skills and enthusiasm. The recruitment process includes comprehensive background checks and staff training.

Interested applicants are invited to visit the Job Fair at the West Essex YMCA on Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or to complete an Application for Employment at the Welcome Center.

Man Stabbed in Valley Section of West Orange

WEST ORANGE – A West Orange man was stabbed Sunday evening during an attack in The Valley section of the township, according to officials.
