Adulting 101: Interview Prep Workshop

Adulting can be hard, but the Livingston Public Library’s Adulting 101 program series is here to make it easy!  With programs ranging from finance, to cooking, to interview prep, and more, we will show you how to “adult.”

The Livingston Public Library will be hosting an Adulting 101: Interview Prep Workshop on Wednesday, May 1st at 7pm, presented by Ethelyn Geschwind. This program will help prepare participants for jobs interviews with a special focus on graduating seniors and recent college graduates.  During the workshop, participants will learn what to expect, what the interviewer is looking for and how to prepare for the interview. Specific examples will illustrate how you can make your answers more effective.

Ethelyn Geschwind is a seasoned business executive with more than three decades of leadership and mentoring experience.  Before retiring from Verizon Communications in 2017, Ethelyn served as a director of Strategic Sourcing. Ethelyn now devotes her time to running workshops and coaching and mentoring high school and college students, and those already in the workforce, to improve their interview and management skills—helping them secure acceptance to college, graduate school and/or the job of their choice.  She is the author of Perfect Prep: An Insider’s Guide to Acing Your College Interview.

The program is free and open to all. More information can be found on the Library’s website, www.livingstonlibrary.org or by calling the Library at (973) 992-4600.
