Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products Presentation at Livingston Library

Did you ever stop to think about what it is you’re really spraying on your countertops and floors? It’s possible that the residue left behind may actually be harmful to our family, pets, our local environment, and our regional water supply.  In this program presented by the GSWA, you will learn about the ingredients found in our personal and household cleaning products you may want to avoid, and how products labeled as “environmentally safe” are not all created equal – and why you should be concerned.

GSWA’s Director of Education and Outreach, will reveal some super effective, eco-friendly alternative solutions that can come from ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen; things like white vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice.

You will leave with some DIY cleaning product recipes to make your very own homemade cleaning products!

Registration is required either via the library events calendar at www.livingstonlibrary.org or by calling 973 992 4600.
