Understanding Hearing Loss

“Understanding Hearing Loss” at the Livingston Public Library, May 24, 7 pm

People of all ages experience gradual hearing loss, often due to the natural aging process, long exposure to loud noise or other medical conditions.

According to the website HealthyHearing (www.healthyhearing.com), untreated hearing loss is associated with lower quality of life, depression, social isolationunemployment and lower earnings at workhigher medical bills for other health issues, high blood pressure and even a higher risk of dangerous trips and falls. Hearing loss can have far-reaching implications for you and those close to you.
