Yorke and the Acutals: Doo-wop Concert at Livingston Library

The Livingston Public Library invites you to join us on Sunday, June 28 at 2:00pm for a musical performance by Yorke and the Acutals!  Yorke and the Acutals are a New Jersey based doo-wop acapella singing group led by Arthur (Yorke) Calabro, with backgrounds by JoAnn Calabro, Don Mensh and Mike Edwards.

The group was formed a few years ago, and has performed in New Jersey, Florida and Delaware.  Their harmonies are pleasant sounding, and you will recognize many of the “top hits” from the 1950’s and 60’s.  In addition, Yorke has composed two songs which have recently been recorded and are soon to be released on the Street Corner Entertainment label.

Registration is not required for this event and music lovers of all ages are welcome to attend.  This concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library as part of the Music Matters program series.  To find out more information, visit our events calendar at www.livingstonlibrary.org or call 973-992-4600.
