LIVINGSTON, NJ — Each year, the Livingston Holiday Decorations Committee works hard to ensure that the township remains festive and bright by hanging lanterns on the poles and wrapping lighted garland on all lampposts along main streets and the business districts as well as on the pergolas at Northfield Center. However, the committee has struggled to do so in recent years due to a shortage of monetary support from the community.

According to Holiday Committee Co-Chairs Marie Bennett Adrienne Santola, many residents don’t realize that the street display is independent of the Camuso Family Holiday Display at the Memorial Oval and that continued support is necessary to fund the main street decorations.

In order to continue this long-standing tradition, the township is encouraging residents and businesses to contribute to the committee’s efforts to “not let Livingston go dark during the holiday season.”

Tax-deductible checks can be made payable to “Township of Livingston – Holiday Decorations” and mailed to or dropped off at 357 South Livingston Avenue along with the donor’s name, address, phone number and Email address.
