LIVINGSTON, NJ — With Nancy Ciminnisi and Kristin Pelletier on vocals and about a dozen other faculty members backing them up on trumpets, saxophones and more, the Livingston Public Schools Music Department recently performed a special quarantine rendition of “I Ain’t Got Nothin’ But the Blues” by Duke Ellington and Don Geroge.

The video below was produced by Erik Donough, who also played drums as well as the reeds alongside Stafford Horne, Brian Seltzer, Michael Jedwabnik and Brendan Hughes. Jedwabnik also played the piano while James Hegedus and Richard Rudd played trumpets. Richard Rudd played the trombone alongside Amedeo Ciminnisi, who also played both the bass, and Timothy Nelson played the guitar.
