LIVINGSTON, NJ — Sara Lin, a rising seventh grader in Livingston Public Schools, recently channeled her inner Jedi to imagine a unique galaxy that could exist far, far away. The force was obviously with her as she was named the national grand-prize winner in the Scholastic Book Club's "Star Wars Reads Art Contest."

In order to compete, students were asked to draw their own galaxy and label it with its important places and things. Lin’s winning artwork can be seen above along with a photo of her standing with a poster announcing her as the winner.
