LIVINGSTON, NJ — In order to reach the maximum number of people from the Livingston community, Livingston Vision 20/20 has opted to post a new mini-survey survey every month rather than distributing its traditional community survey in hopes that this will encourage residents to take between two and four minutes each month to voice their opinions on crucial matters.
The mini-survey for April—SYLS Programs & Pools—has been extended to give more residents a chance to respond. The SYLS survey remains active through the May, and a new mini-survey will begin on June 1.
“When you participate in these mini-surveys, your responses can help us create a better community for all,” the committee states about this new system for collecting feedback. “If you've ever wanted to let the town know what you think, this is your chance.”
More About the Livingston Vision 20/20 Monthly Mini-Surveys
The volunteer Livingston Vision 20/20 Committee has been conducting a community survey every four years since 2003.
According to the committee, past survey results have led to improvements such as the introduction of the Livingston Express Shuttle and construction of the skate park. This year, the committee is taking a new approach to the community survey.
The hope is that the short survey format will allow for quick, topic-focused community feedback throughout the year. Each month, a different brief set of questions specific to one area will be posted online at www.livingstonnj.org.
The committee encourages all members of the Livingston community to share their experiences, priorities and interests by responding to these surveys throughout the year.
