LIVINGSTON, NJ — Advance Auto Parts (AAP), a leading automotive aftermarket parts retailer, celebrated the grand opening of its Livingston location at 437 Mount Pleasant Avenue on Friday, where Livingston Mayor Shawn cut the commemorative red ribbon alongside members of the township council, Livingston Business Improvement District and Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce.

As part of the celebration, Advance presented a gift card donation of $2,500 to the Livingston Police Department (LPD) to issue in lieu of an equipment citation to encourage motorists to repair their vehicles. According to Advance, members of the Livingston Police Department will randomly distribute the gift cards, which can be redeemed at any of the 104 retail stores in New Jersey or online at advanceautoparts.com.

“It was great hearing from the store manager, who told us the store is already busy after being open for two days,” said Klein as he welcomed district manager Bob Raywood and Livingston's general manager Joe Gonzalez to the community. “The entire council wishes Advance Auto Parts all the best as we support yet another new business in town. If they succeed, Livingston succeeds."
