LIVINGSTON, NJ — After 54 years at 111 East Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston Car Wash is officially relocating to 295 West Northfield Road at the Livingston Circle, with a soft opening scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 29.
According to longtime owner Paul Ritter, customers will be able to choose between a full-service machine-wash tunnel or a hand-wash tunnel for a more gentle carwash experience. Also unique to the new location is a “Sudsblaster,” which will provide a hands-on, interactive experience for kids.
“Our new, state-of-the-art car wash has all the newest technologies to deliver a clean car and help keep the environment clean and safe,” said Ritter. “We will be using our own well and recycling our water to help reduce our carbon footprint.”
Ritter was also enthusiastic about customers having “easy access off of Northfield Road” and the ability to “exit directly onto Eisenhower Parkway,” which provides access to “anywhere around the Route 10 circle,” he added.
Livingston Car Wash is currently running several grand-opening specials and is also offering thousands of prizes to customers. Enter to win at the Livingston Car Wash website.
“We just want to thank the community for supporting us for 54 years, and we look forward to having them follow us to the Circle,” said Ritter.
Ritter concluded that an official grand opening will be scheduled toward the end of February.
