LIVINGSTON, NJ — Twenty-one Livingston High School students were inducted into the Julius C. Bernstein Chapter of the National Honor Society during a ceremony recognizing the students for demonstrating “excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.”

The ceremony, which included the lighting of candles in commitment to these principals, was led by officers Meer Kenia, National Honor Society president; Ishan Saxena, warden of scholarship; Nirav Patel, warden of leadership; Sydney Muench, warden of character; Katrina Pham, warden of service; Susanna Li, warden of emblem; and Nicole Rong, deputy.

Inductees included Gracie Bent, Karin Berger, Kenneth Ding, Sylvia Ferreira, Krish Govind, Harrison Greenwald, William Han, Julia Hou, Sydney Jacobsen, Rachel Kurtz, Mackenzie Lee, Gene Liu, Karina Malhotra, Evan Marcus, Eden Quan, Gabrielle Romano, David Samaan, Stephanie Sicurello, Brian Weber, Jared Wolf and Patrick Zotti. Lori Perez and Kathryn Picardo serves as the NHS advisors.
