LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston High School's commencement ceremony may have been big news last week, but some of Livingston Public Schools' younger students also had much to celebrate as the 2018-2019 school year came to a close.
All six elementary schools marked the end of the school year with many festivities, as kindergartners moved on and fifth graders "Moved Up."
The district's littlest students marked a huge achievement as the students in Burnet Hill's Pre-school Readiness Individual Developmental Education (PRIDE) program received their "diplomas" and officially became rising kindergartners.
Proud family members looked on as the students performed several musical numbers before receiving their certificates from their teachers. The event concluded with refreshments and a photo-op.
A "clap-out" also occurred at Mt. Pleasant Middle School as sixth graders officially became Heritage Middle School students.
