LIVINGSTON, NJ — Payitfoodward.com, an online food ordering site with a twist, is making eating for a purpose a reality when the online food-ordering site launches on Monday. When ordering through Payitfoodward.com, three percent of every order is donated to a charitable group of the orderer’s choice.
Restaurant-goers can visit Payitfoodward.com and select a charitable group to support while ordering from a new or favorite restaurant. Once the order is placed, three percent of the cost will immediately be on its way to the charitable group, and the food will be on its way to the customer.
Payitfoodward.com is the brainchild of GR Homa, a Livingston resident with a desire to help the community and the charitable groups supporting it. He is the owner of bigholler.com, which has been a successful online food ordering service for over 15 years. Pay It Foodward is a new community support-based offering from the parent company.
“Pay It Foodward lets us continue doing a normal task: ordering food online, but it offers a better outcome,” said Homa. “It lets you make a difference every time you order by supporting a cause or group you believe in.”
The program is a win-win for all: charitable groups are supported in their endeavors to help the community; the community benefits from the services provided by these charitable groups; restaurants, businesses and charitable groups receive free advertising and promotion; restaurants benefit from an uptick in sales; and businesses can fold donations into a charitable giving matching program while also providing a valuable employee benefit.
