LIVINGSTON, NJ — Bottle King, New Jersey’s largest wine, beer and sprits retailer with 15 locations throughout the state, including ones locally in Livingston, Morris Plains and Glen Ridge, has implemented its decision to temporarily offer shopping only with curbside pickup and local delivery for all locations.

The company advised that all purchases should be made through the Bottle King website. Until further notice, customers will not be permitted to enter the stores.

This decision was made by senior management last week to further protect the general public and employees from the continued COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to deep cleaning and sanitizing all stores, Bottle King is taking proactive steps in temporarily shifting their retail operations to a safe, secure, online shopping platform.

“Protecting our employees, and the general public is of utmost importance during this crisis,” Bottle King chief executive officer Kenneth Friedman said of the changing retail environment. “As each Bottle King location is continuously receiving products from suppliers, expanding our online business is a natural extension of our in-store experience.”

The company is working hard to meet its growing demands and strongly encourages curbside pick as an alternative to delivery during this crisis due to its quicker turnaround on execution.

With a fleet of more than 20 delivery vehicles, Bottle King is able to service 150 zip codes throughout New Jersey.
