LIVINGSTON, NJ — In support of the medical professionals working around the clock to treat their patients during the global health crisis, Livingston Senior, Youth and Leisure Services (SYLS) is offering free 15-minute guided meditation sessions twice a week for eight weeks to all health care workers with SYLS Meditation Instructor Laura Goren.
"In these difficult, unprecedented times, we at the Livingston SYLS Department want to take the time to recognize and say thank you to all of our Livingston health care workers,” said SYLS Director Jennifer Walker. “While these times are frightening and uncertain, it is your selflessness and dedication to our residents and your patients that give us strength and comfort.
“While you are tirelessly taking care of patients, day in and day out, we would like to offer you a small respite in the hopes that you will spend a few moments taking care of yourselves…We hope that this token of our appreciation will, in some small way, ease your burden.”
