LIVINGSTON, NJ — Essex County reported that Livingston had five additional confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 9 a.m. on Thursday, increasing the total number of coronavirus cases in the township to 360.

There have also been 45 deaths in Livingston that have been attributed to the coronavirus, according to the county reports.

Across Essex County, there have been 11,787 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Thursday at 9 a.m. The county reports 928 deaths that have been associated with the coronavirus. In Essex County, 8,701 COVID-19 tests have come back negative.

Statewide, there was an increase of 4,247 new cases overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 5,368, an increase of 305 overnight, according to the State Department of Health. Statewide there have been 100,159 negative test results.
