LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Essex County reported that Livingston had two more confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 9 a.m. Friday, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the township to 326.
In the last seven days, there have been 75 new cases of the virus in Livingston, which has had a total of 37 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Across Essex County, there have been 9,656 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Friday at 9 a.m. The county reports 677 deaths that have been associated with the coronavirus. In Essex County, 6,566 COVID-19 tests have come back negative.
Statewide, there is a total of 78,467 cases, an increase of 3,150 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 3,840, an increase of 322 overnight, according to the State Department of Health. There have been 78,982 negative test results in New Jersey.
