LIVINGSTON, NJ — As an unintended consequence of the COVID-19 public health crisis, blood and platelet supplies have dropped to dangerously low levels. In response, Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Township of Livingston have teamed up to hold a blood and platelet drive on July 28 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The drive will be held at the Livingston Senior and Community Center, located at 204 Hillside Avenue. Donors will be asked to use the main entrance of building's the lower level and to follow all social-distancing and additional disinfecting guidelines put in place for the drive. All participants should also bring photo identification and be sure to eat and drink prior to donating.
