LIVINGSTON, NJ — Due to increased water demand and emergency water infrastructure repairs, the Township of Livingston has declared a Precautionary Water Emergency, effective immediately through Monday, June 29 at 11 p.m.

All residents are asked to refrain from any non-essential water use, such as watering lawns, washing cars and outdoor recreational water use during this time. Residents should also conserve water inside their homes to the greatest extent possible.

The township assures residents that their water remains safe to drink despite these restrictions.
