LIVINGSTON, NJ — Whether you are a mom with a newborn or toddler, or your kids are tweens or teens, the benefits of introducing your child to yoga at an early age are outstanding. Learning to incorporate movement and mindfulness into your child’s daily routine, is an essential life skill that helps to reduce their stress, improve their mood and increase their physical activity.
CardioYoga Studio in Livingston offers kids yoga classes for all ages.
On Thursdays at 11 a.m., Mommy + Baby classes are ideal for pre-crawling babies as the class focuses on stretching and toning the moms as well as stretching the babies to learn how to help them relieve gas and stimulate their muscle development to improve their nerve function.
Also at CardioYoga is a Mommy + Me class starting on Sunday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m. This is a great way for moms (or dads) to bond with their little ones through movement, music and fun. This 45-minute class will have them moving, stretching, inhaling, exhaling and, of course, laughing!
If you have a tween or teen, CardioYoga has a yoga class for them too! Tweens/teens will benefit most from this practice as these adolescent years can be the most challenging (for the parents too!). Yoga is a great tool to help manage the many stresses your tween/teen is experiencing whether in school, with friends or online. It also is a great mood booster during these rocky pre-pubescent years!
