The StretchLab Difference!

According to the StretchLab website, StretchLab is transforming the lives of its clients through a dedicated and highly-customized stretching routine.

"With our team of certified Flexologists™ the StretchLab experience is like no other," says Weaving.

Why Stretch?

Stretching is ancient, but StretchLab has redefined what it means to get a stretch, according to the website.

"The reasons that people find themselves in a StretchLab vary greatly," says Weaving. "Some clients are looking to improve their sports performance, some are looking to decrease joint pain, and others simply just want a great stretch. No matter what brings you into a StretchLab – the benefits of a regular and professional assisted stretching routine are universal."

Weaving adds, "Having someone with years of experience read your body, assess your needs and make sure that you have been thoroughly and expertly stretched, is an experience like no other. We will push you further than you can push yourself and open you up in ways that you just can't do on your own. Stretching is really good for you. Being stretched is the key to a longer and healthier life."

Why is StretchLab Different?

"Tight shoulders, sore hamstrings, neck tension – no two bodies are the same and no two stretches at StretchLab are the same," says Weaving. "One-on-one stretching is about identifying tightness and imbalances in your body and customizing a stretch routine that is just for you. At first, our clients may come in with pain, tightness or specific focus areas but once they experience the freedom that comes with having a wider range of motion and flexibility – they keep coming back and committing to their flexibility journey. We help you reclaim your freedom – the freedom to move as you want, and to be active and engaged in the life you see yourself having."

StretchLab's Flexologists are Certified!

Weaving says, "Our proprietary Flexologist Training Program is an intensive and thorough series that each of our Flexologists must complete, prior to joining the StretchLab family. During their required 100+ hours of theory and hands-on training, our Flexologists learn the muscular system, a variety of assisted stretches and exactly how to work with a variety of clients from professional athletes, weekend warriors, those recovering from an injury and clients of all ages and body types."

StretchLab Offers the PNF Approach!

"Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is the method we use in our one-on-one stretches, as well as certain stretches in our group stretches," says Weaving. "Basically, your Flexologist will put you in position and ask you to contract certain muscles and to hold the contraction for a few moments. This advanced form of stretching is very beneficial in increasing range of motion and getting maximum benefits during your stretch session."

StretchLab Also Offers Dynamic and Static Stretching!

According to the website, static stretching is holding a stretch for a set amount of time, while dynamic stretching includes some sort of movement associated with the stretch.

"We use a combination of these two stretches, as well as stretching tools, during every group stretch and one-on-one session," says Weaving.

StretchLab Offers Memberships!

According to the website, taking a commitment to your flexibility goals is a perfect way to start improving your performance, mobility and decrease of stress and pain. StretchLab offers monthly memberships for one-on-one stretches, as well as group stretches.

Weaving says, "An ongoing membership allows you to discuss your range of motion and flexibility goals with your Flexologist and track your progress. Remember, it doesn't get easier - you get better!"
