LIVINGSTON, NJ — In conjunction with revaluation company Appraisal Systems, Inc. (ASI), the Township of Livingston is hosting two public information forums to explain the revaluation process and field questions from the community. All residents and property owners are invited to attend.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Livingston Senior and Community Center (lower level), located at 204 Hillside Avenue. The second will be held at the same time and location on Wednesday, March 6.

Pursuant to state law, Livingston Township was ordered by the Essex County Board of Taxation to undertake a town-wide revaluation and to have the new valuations take effect in 2020. Appraisal Systems, Inc. (ASI) has been performing individual property audits since November 2018.
