LIVINGSTON, NJ — Trinity Covenant Church’s tradition of Lenten Dinners begins on Thursday, March 5 this year and continues until April 2, with dinner and then after-dinner Bible study and discussion for teens and adults, and “Lenten Kids’ Club” for kids!
Dinner begins at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at the church (343 East Cedar St in Livingston, just off Northfield Rd and down the hill from Saint Barnabas Medical Center).
After dinner, kids follow Pastor Anne Weinberg (pastor of ministry for children and families) for Lenten Kids’ Club, with activities all around a Lenten lesson.
Adults this year are invited to engage in a DVD-led Bible study entitled, “Christian: It’s Not What You Think.” What does it mean to be a Christian? What did Jesus have to say about it? Perhaps we’ve been misled! This is a perfect topic for Lenten self-examination and repentance!
All are welcome; there is no cost for admission, although a free-will offering is always welcome to cover the cost of food. Please RSVP to the Church office at 973-992-4044 or TrinityCovenantChurch@gmail.com.
