GLEN RIDGE, NJ -- The Livingston boys basketball team won its third consecutive close decision on Saturday, defeating Glen Ridge, 33-30.
Abe Rimatzki scored 13 points for the Lancers (7-7), who evened their record with a strong defensive effort that included holding the Ridgers scoreless in the first quarter, after which Livingston had a 7-0 lead.
Evan Goldenstein had seven points in the victory, which came on the heels of Livingston's 50-48 verdict over Verona on Thursday and a 46-40 triumph over Orange on Tuesday. Before that, Livingston had lost, 38-37, to Bloomfield.
Livingston will await its seeding in the Essex County Tournament. Those brackets will be released late Monday night.
