LIVINGSTON, NJ -- The Livingston boys basketball team broke open a nine-point game with a huge second half and went on to a 75-31 victory ovet Montclair-Kimberley Academy in the preliminary round of the Essex County Tournament on Saturday.

Jake Cohen scored 18 points for the Lancers (8-8), who erased a three-point deficit with a 21-9 showing in the second quarter to take a 32-23 halftime lead.

Abe Rimatzki finished with 13 points and Evan Goldenstein scored 11 for Livingston, which outscored MKA, 43-8, after halftime. Nick Guido had nine points for Livingston, which got points from 12 different players on the roster.
