WEST ORANGE, NJ -- The Livingston ice hockey team took almost three times as many shots as its opponent and defeated Gov. Livingston of Berkeley Heights, 2-1, at Codey Arena Wednesday.

Cade Prendergast scored for the Lancers (3-4) with 10:11 left in the second period with assists from Michael Mumm and Dylan Flaherty for a 1-0 lead. 

After the Highlanders tied it, 1-1, Livingston went ahead on Dylan Foley's power play goal with 3:24 left in the second period. Flaherty and Mumm provided the helpers on Foley's goal.

Livingston outshot GL, 38-13. Zach Turbin had 12 saves in goal for the Lancers.
