ROSELLE, NJ -- Livingston held Summit scoreless in the opening quarter, but the Hilltoppers came back with three goals in each of the next two periods for a 6-3 victory over the Lancers in the semifinal round of the McInnis Cup Tuesday night at Warinanco Rink.
Dylan Foley gave Livingston (10-7-5) a 1-0 lead in the first period with assists by Matt McLaughlin and Michael Mumm. Summit (17-3-2) responded with three unanswered goals in the second period.
Livingston got back within one, 3-2, on a goal in the third period by Austin Vecchio with assists by Foley and Brett Conklin. Summit scored the next two for a 5-2 lead. Livingston's final goal came from Vecchio, assisted by Foley and Mumm.
Vecchio finished with two goals and Foley and Mumm each had two assists in the loss.
