SECAUCUS, NJ -- The Livingston wrestling team won the Patriot Invitational at Secaucus High School last weekend.

With 103 team points, the Lancers came in first by two points over second-place Lakeland in the 10-team field.

Four Livingston wrestlers won gold medals. Stratos Kantanas was the winner at 170 pounds, pinning his opponent in 4:14. Max Lee of Livingston won the 160-pound division with a 10-6 victory over his opponent in the final round. Agostino Petrillo of the Lancers won the 130-pound final with a pin at the 5:00 mark. And Aidan Carmody of Livingston was the 106-pound champion after an 8-6 decision in the final.

Livingston will continue its season with a quad meet at Nutley High School on Saturday.
