Wynnewood, Lower Merion Township, PA — Police responded to 100 E. Lancaster Ave., Wynnewood to the report of a disorderly man.  LMPD official report that a man was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment at Lankenau Medical Center on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 4:28 PM.

 

Robert Maurice Forst age 65, of Bryn Mawr, Radnor Township was arrested in Parking Lot A, at the Lankenau Medical Center.  He was charged with simple assault and harassment. Police officials report that Forst had confronted a security guard while wielding a 5 pounds sledgehammer that he had removed from his vehicle.  

 

Events started to unravel when Forst was attempting to help his “significant other” discharge herself from the hospital against medical advice.  Other details were not available, but the TAPinto team has requested further information from the investigations unit.

Forst was preliminarily arraigned on March 10 at 3:45 PM before Magisterial District Judge Deborah A. Lukens.  

 

Forst was charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor in the 2nd degree And harassment, subjecting others to physical contact, a summary offense.  

 

Judge Luken’s set bail at $10,000 cash.  The defendant was unable to post bail and was transported to the Montgomery County correctional facility in Eagleville, PA Where he will be held until his preliminary hearing and Narberth on March 22 before Judge Karen Elser Zucker.
