The defendant was located under the victim’s bed with her six-year-old son; police allege she had dried blood on her hands.
Norristown, PA — Montgomery County officials announced this afternoon the arrest of a Delaware County women from Folsom In the deaths of two W. Norriton residents. The victims were identified as the Lila Frost age 78, and Lorraine Gigliello age 68, stated a press release by Montgomery County Dist. Atty. Kevin R. Steele and West Norriton Police Chief A. Dale Mabry.
“Naseema Sami, 43 of Folsom, PA has been arrested for two counts of first-degree murder and related charges in the deaths of the women” reported officials.
Events started to unfold on Sunday, March 10 at 8:17 PM when the West Norton Township Police Department went to Frost’s residence on W. Indian Lane for a wellness check. According to an affidavit of probable cause and upstairs tenant at the location 10 West Indian Ln., became concerned as he saw an individual. He did not recognize entering the apartment. He also had not seen Ms. Frost for several days, even though her car had been parked on the property.
Police arrived to find the apartment front door secured but were able to gain access thru the rear door. Police officers allegedly found Sami and her six-year-old son underneath the bed. One deceased woman was located in the bathroom and the second woman in the kitchen.
Investigators from Montgomery County Detectives and the West Norriton Police conducted a joint investigation.
The investigation revealed that Sammy and her son had driven to the residents on Thursday, March 7 looking for help from Mrs. Frost who had been her landlord for 20 years prior. It was revealed that the defendants entered through an unlocked door while no one was home; subsequently, the investigation showed that Gigliello arrived at the apartment and when she reaches for the phone to call the police she was killed.
Two W. Norriton police officers located Sami and her six-year-old underneath the bed. One of the officers allegedly observed what he believed to be dried blood on Sami’s hands. According to police affidavits. One of the female victims is located underneath the kitchen table, wrapped in sheets or towels. The other victim was found in the bathroom in what was described as a “dry tub.” That victim was covered with the blanket, and it was noted that blood was observed around the tub. The police also stated that there were over ten bottles of bleach and other cleaning fluids scattered throughout the apartment.
Today at 9:20 AM. An autopsy was conducted on Lila Frost at the Montgomery County coroner’s office with the cause of death was reported as multiple injuries in the manner of death was a homicide.
A second autopsy was performed at 12:45 PM on the body of Lorraine Marie Gigliello. The cause of death for this victim was head trauma and the manner of death, homicide.
It is expected that Sammy will be arraigned before the days and can be charged with two counts of first-degree murder and related charges. First-degree murder charges do not allow for bail. So is it is expected that Sami will be incarcerated in the Montgomery County correctional facility in Eagleville pending a preliminary hearing.
There has been no mention by authorities as to the whereabouts of the 6 year old boy.
