Bala Cynwyd, Lower Merion Township, PA — Police responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from outside of 25 E.City Avenue at 2:59 PM on March 24, 2019.  The victim was working--out at the LA Fitness center and had arrived at 1:50 PM and went looking for her car about an hour later.

When the victim she left the facility she looked in the parking lot and could not find her car which is a 2012 White Infiniti 37X Sedan.  The vehicle had been stolen.

In the vehicle was a Burberry purse valued at $535 which contained credit cards and the victim's identification.

Only blocks away at the Target store located at 4000 Monument Road, the store's loss prevention specialists had stopped a person from leaving the store and held them for the police.  The Philadelphia Police arrived and took the suspect into custody. In the suspect's possession were the purse and items the car.

Philadelphia’s Police arrested the suspect   Charges and other information was not released by Lower Merion and calls into Philadelphia Police were not returned.

Subsequently, Lower Merion officers located the missing vehicle in the 100 block of Monument Road in Bala Cynwyd.
