Welsh Valley Middle School harnessed the holiday spirit when it held its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and Food Drive.  At the event students, staff and family members took the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal together while also helping provide food for those less fortunate.

Organized by the Welsh Valley Home & School Association (HSA), the Dragons enjoyed an early Thanksgiving lunch featuring all the traditional fixings -- including turkey and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, an assortment of desserts and more.

The luncheon also coincided with Welsh Valley's Thanksgiving Food Drive as students and staff collected turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, stuffing, applesauce, sweet potatoes, canned vegetables, brownie mix, and grocery store gift cards, which will be donated to the Ardmore Food Pantry and ElderNet of Lower Merion and Narberth.
