Ardmore Avenue Bridge Construction Project, Get Ready for Delays

Ardmore, Lower Merion Township, PA —  The township is starting an inventory of "street lights".  The work will take approximately 3-4 weeks. A private contractor will be working with the township on the project.

Energy Systems Group will have crews working along the edges of the roads in the township.  They will be wearing fluorescent safety vests. The work was scheduled to start yesterday in the Penn Wynne  Bala Cynwyd and Merion Station areas, township authorities said.

Over the next three to four weeks the township wide effort will work north and West .

Each crew will be documenting information and possibly taking photographs of the poles and light fixtures, said officials.

The crews will be working from 8am to 5pm day during the week but they may also work weekends . The Township announced that should crews work the weekends they will send advance notices when the crews move to new areas.
