Merion, Lower Merion Township, PA  — Police report that a late night armed robbery occurred at Wendy’s Restaurant located at 259 City Avenue in Merion.

Police report that at 11:11 on March 3rd, entered the store after it was closed.  The doors were still unlocked to allow patrons to exit.

Police say that the robber entered and displayed a handgun.  The man demanded money and threatened an employee. The man was handed an undisclosed amount of cash at which point he fled the store.

The robber was last seen in a newer model car described as a silver colored sedan.  The vehicle was last seen heading south on City Avenue.
