For fans of “Eat Mor Chikn,” the local Audubon location of Chick-fil-A’s operator has some bad news. The luck of the Irish seems not to be with you. For a few days this weekend, the location will have to close its doors.
“We have some regularly scheduled maintenance that will take place this weekend and because of that we will have to close our doors for a while,” said Sam Class, operator of the Audubon Chick-fil-A.
The store will be closed at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 15. The store will remain closed through the entire day of St. Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17.
The store plans to reopen on Tuesday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m.
“Please know there is nothing to worry about,” reassured Class of his store’s operation. “We are having our kitchen floor replaced so that we can better serve you in the future.”
Class said he was sorry for the disruption of service, but is sure the new floor will be a big plus for the Audubon restaurant.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, and we look forward to serving you when we reopen,” he said.
Class strives to interact with the local community as much as possible with various events, from school Spirit Nights (where raised funds go toward local charities, including Methacton School District's Home and School associations), to Daddy/Daughter Date nights.
Each Monday, for example, is Breakfast Bingo from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the Audubon restaurant. The spot also hosts date nights for mothers and sons, as well as daddies and their daughters. On Monday, March 24, reservations are currently being taken for the next Daddy Daughter Date Night, which runs from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
