MADISON, NJ -  Madison residents Thomas Hoover and Sophie McDonnell have been named to the President's List for the fall 2019 semester.

Hoover, has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the Fall Semester 2019. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher. Hoover is working toward a BSBA in Marketing.

Celebrating its Centennial in the year 2019, Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution, located  in Springfield, Massachusetts. Western New England serves 3,974 students, including 2,629 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and the School of Law.

McDonnell was named to the Miami University fall 2019 president's list. Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2019-20 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

McDonnell is majoring in Accountancy, Accountancy. Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio. With a student body of nearly 19,000, Miami effectively combines a wide range of strong academic programs with faculty who love to teach and the personal attention ordinarily found only at much smaller institutions.
