The wait is over! The colorful original art banners that have been flying over the streets of downtown Madison for the last few months are now officially going to auction... and you can purchase your very own stunning, original work of art!!   On Saturday, November 5 the public is invited to join us at the historic Hartley Dodge Memorial Building at 6 pm for an opportunity to bid on each of the banners.  This is the fourth year this public community project has been featured in Madison, thanks to the successful partnership between the arts and cultural sector and the local government.  Working together, the Madison Arts & Culture Alliance (MACA) and the Downtown Development Commission (DDC) have created this public venue that promotes the creative work of local artists, and identifies Madison as a premier arts destination.

The auction event is free to the general public and the preview reception, silent auction bids and cocktail party with the artists at 6:00. At 7:00 we will move to the live auction portion of the evening where further bidding on the artwork will be lively and exciting!

The artists featured in this show are Chris Kappmeier, Cassan Francois, Julie Gonzalez, Medy Bozkurtian, Rachel Cohen, Tine Graham, Jeffrey Jebara, Dennis McKee and Susan Gepford.  Each of these individual artists has been featured separately in shows and exhibitions around the country and their works are representative of some of the best art New Jersey has to offer.

The Hartley Dodge Memorial Building is located at 50 Kings Road (opposite the Madison Train Station).  For more information you can contact us at info@madisonartsnj.org or ddc@rosenet.org
