Chatham Borough Police Arrest Madison Motorist Wanted on Court Warrant

CHATHAM, NJ – Madison resident Michael Serillo, 28, was arrested Oct. 15 on an active traffic contempt of a court warrant issued by Garwood Borough.

Chatham Borough Police Officer Michael Permison said he conducted a motor vehicle stop when he observed a vehicle, operated by Serillo, driving down the road with no headlights on at a time when they were required.

A customary driver’s license check discovered the warrant, police said. Serillo was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released pending a court appearance.

All persons charged with an offense are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
