Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship will host its ninth annual Recognition Reception on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 6 p.m. in Lenfell Hall at the College at Florham in Madison, NJ. This yearly event recognizes the achievements of Institute faculty members and of FDU entrepreneurship students. Daniel Hassan, CEO of BCM, will deliver the keynote address.

An FDU alum, Hassan joined BCM in 2006 as senior vice president of sales after successful forays in the worlds of finance and real estate. BCM was at that point a full service direct response media agency, and the success of that business ended up laying down the foundation for the research and development of BCM’s TV solutions.

In 2009, Hassan was tapped as CEO and Chairman of the Board to lead the company from a research and development phase to a commercialization phase. Following a successful technical test in New England, Clickable TV was successfully launched commercially in Montgomery, Alabama in January 2011.

Part of the Silberman College of Business since 1989, the mission of the Rothman Institute for Entrepreneurship is to teach and support entrepreneurship and innovation in the academic, business and nonprofit communities. An outstanding entrepreneurship curriculum taught by an excellent faculty has helped make the academic program among the top 20 in the nation (as ranked by the Princeton Review).

Admission to this event is free, but registration is required (by September 9). To register, please call Gabrielle at 973-443-8842 or register online at http://rothmanfdu.eventbrite.com/
