DOVER, NJ - The Madison varsity football team continued its offensive onslaught for a second straight game.
The Dodgers went on the road and came away with a 35-7 victory over Dover in a game played Thursday night out of respect for the observance of Yom Kippur this weekend.
Madison built a 20-7 halftime lead before shutting out Dover and adding two touchdowns in the second half. Madison has scored 86 points in its last two games, following a 51-31 triumph over Butler last weekend.
David Luttinger scored on a 20-yard run in the first quarter, and AJ Schmitz connected with Peter Haboj on an 8-yard TD pass for a 14-0 lead. Joe Mobley broke away for a 54-yard TD run in the second quarter for the Dodgers.
Luttinger and Mobley each ran for a TD in the second half as Madison pulled away en route to a 3-1 record on the season.
