The annual Step Out walk raises funds for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes research and education. Diabetes affects the lives of nearly 25.8 million Americans living with the disease.

The general public is encouraged to join FDU’s team by registering at Diabetes.org. Participants can choose between one mile and three mile routes. Donations to the FDU Medco School of Pharmacy team are welcomed.

The next step for FDU’s Medco Pharmacy School will be to open its doors in August 2012 as New Jersey’s first pharmacy school associated with a private university. The curriculum will offer a variety of classroom, lab, and other various experience-based opportunities to ensure successful careers.
