The most delicious week of the year is back starting this week from Monday through Friday in downtown Morristown.

More than 40 businesses are on the list to participate in Morristown Restaurant Week, now celebrating its 9th year. From international flair to American classic, Morristown offers a variety of dining options for families, date nights, business occasions and more, and this event showcases just a sampling of them.

"We’re pleased to have so many businesses participating in Restaurant Week this year with specials, deals and discounts," said Karen Carvelli, director of development at Morristown Partnership, which represents the town's business community.  "Both our new restaurants and tried and true favorites are all encouraged to be creative and show off their expertise for this event. It is the ideal opportunity for our many visitors, commuters and residents to experience Morristown’s diverse and vibrant dining scene."

Restaurant Week businesses will offer price-fixed menus for lunch and/or dinner and special promotions and/or tastings will be available in each establishment. Look for the 2018 Morristown Restaurant Week window decal and posters at participating businesses. When dining out, be sure to ask for their Restaurant Week menu or special promotion. During Restaurant Week, no tickets or special passes are required, but reservations are highly recommended.

This year the Morristown Parking Authority will offer free parking during Restaurant Week at the Dalton and Ann/Bank Garages from 5 to 10 p.m. with presentation of a coupon. Free parking coupons can be found in the 2018 Restaurant Guide HERE.

"Morristown Partnership is happy to manage and promote 2018 Morristown Restaurant Week, and we encourage our businesses to go all out, spread the word via their websites and social media, and welcome their regulars and new diners with the best they have to offer," said Jennifer Wehring, executive director at the Morristown Partnership. "We hope diners plan ahead! Visit your favorites and then try something new."
