Free Concert: Hatchet Jack on Friday at Madison Museum

MADISON, NJ – Hatchet Jack kicks off the fifth installment of the Madison Downtown Concert Series on Friday, 6-8 p.m., on the lawn of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts at 9 Main St.

This New Jersey-based rock and blues band covers the sounds of Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and more.

“Leave the hatchets at home...you can see those in the museum!” said the museum of the upcoming show.

Concert goers are invited to set up blankets and chairs on the lawn for a more comfortable listening experience. Picnicking is encouraged.

If inclement weather occurs, these rain-or-shine concerts are held inside the museum.

The Downtown Concert series includes six free concerts this summer, held every other Friday from June 30-Sept. 8. This event is hosted by the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts with support from the Madison Downtown Development Commission, Morris Arts and Investors Bank.

Those who cannot attend have another chance to check out Hatchet Jack on Saturday, 2:30-5 p.m., at the Madison Community Pool
