Chabad of SE Morris County will once again be providing Thanksgiving dinners free of charge to individuals throughout Morris County who are alone or homebound during the holiday. The catered dinners will be delivered by volunteers to the homes of those in need on Thanksgiving morning, thereby ensuring that everyone can participate in the holiday spirit.
“In the past few years during the economic slowdown, we have continued to increase our efforts to reach homebound individuals during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. There are many residents of our county who are all alone and unable to get out, and this project will enable them to celebrate with a full course dinner delivered to their door, said Rabbi Shalom Lubin, who is coordinating this project.
The Thanksgiving Dinners for the Homebound project has been sponsored by a grant from the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey.
Chabad of SE Morris County is located at 42 Park Ave in Madison, and provides Jewish outreach, educational and social services, to the Morris County Community.
