Friends of Madison Library to Honor Thursday Morning Club March 10 at Annual Benefit Gala

The Friends of the Madison Public Library will honor the Thursday Morning Club at an annual gala benefit on Saturday, March 10, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the library on 39 Keep St. 

On this day, the library’s 80th anniversary, “it is most appropriate that the Friends honor their founder,” said Friends Chair Sylvia Luber. 

“The Thursday Morning Club has contributed so much,” she said, “not only to the library, but also to Madison and the surrounding area. It is a privilege to recognize their work.”

During the event, the Friends will also extend a formal welcome to the library’s new director, Lynn Favreau. 

The gala benefit is open to the public at a cost of $50 per person. Tickets are available for purchase at the Madison library front desk or online

Checks should be made payable to Friends of the Madison Public Library and mailed to 39 Keep St., Madison, NJ 07940. Gala proceeds will fund library programs for children, teens and adults.
