MADISON, NJ—Grand opening weekend is days away for Club Pilates, one of Madison’s newest downtown businesses.

A celebratory "Bubbles and Bites" event will be held Thursday, May 18 from 7-9 p.m. to kick off the weekend. All are welcome to join the Club Pilates staff in their beautiful new space, where you can learn about Club Pilates and their unique studio approach. Your attendance will also enter you into a raffle for a free month of membership, or the opportunity to win a “Club Pilates Talk of the Town” gift basket with gift cards and prizes generously donated by local area merchants.

Club Pilates is also offering a promotion of 20 percent off the first three months of any membership. Those interested in trying the “real deal” can take a class at the studio’s $35 drop-in rate. In addition, sign ups are available throughout the weekend for complimentary, 30-minute, whole-body demo classes as an introduction to Pilates and for those who may want to become members but would like to try it out first.

Pilates is a unique workout because it involves both the body and the mind, according to Club Pilates general manager Cara DePaul, who said early morning classes have already gained popularity since the studio’s April 29 soft opening.

“Our studio provides premium, reformer-based group classes that remain true to the Joseph Pilates Method,” said DePaul, who is a local resident herself. ”We have top of the line equipment, certified instructors and an amazing community to truly create a special space where all are welcome! Combine that with the amazing location, and I couldn’t ask for much more.”

Madison is one of two Club Pilates locations owned by Caroline Collins, who chose Main Street for its easy accessibility and great downtown, according to DePaul.

“Club Pilates is a workout that focuses on core strengthening and functional movement,” Collins said. "It engages your mind and your body, which builds the foundation to increase strength, flexibility, spinal health and body control, all which help you throughout your daily life. In addition, and best of all, you can start at anytime. It’s great for everyone!”
